China has launched a new high-speed freight train line that will significantly strengthen the logistics network between the central and southern regions of the country. The line, which became operational on Saturday morning, provides a direct connection between Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in central China, and Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province in southern China. These new trains, reaching speeds of 350 kilometers per hour, offer fast and reliable delivery options between the two regions.
Special System for Time-Sensitive Products
China Railway Express official Zhang Ting stated that the new line is designed especially for the transportation of time-sensitive products. The high-speed trains will be used to transport critical cargo such as fresh produce, biomedical products, and electronics.
Customized Solutions: Thanks to special packaging solutions and sensitive temperature monitoring systems on the trains, products are delivered under optimal conditions and securely.
The new high-speed freight line is the latest project expanding China’s logistics capacity, following the opening of the Kunming-Chengdu, Zhengzhou-Chongqing, and Nanchang-Shenzhen express lines.
Contribution to Economic Integration
The opening of the Wuhan-Guangzhou line is expected to accelerate economic integration and coordinated development between the central China region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which has strategic importance.
