Collaboration between Microsoft and Boeing! Simulation game will be used for pilot training

For many years, the realistic infrastructure of Microsoft Flight Simulator, used for entertainment purposes, has been transformed into a tool for professional pilot training for the first time. Collaborating with Boeing, Microsoft introduced a cloud-based virtual training platform called “Virtual Airplane Procedures Trainer” (VAPT). Supported by Azure technology, this new system aims to enhance the skills of Boeing 737 MAX pilot candidates and help them get accustomed to the process. VAPT, which is even accessible from an iPad, allows pilots and instructors to customize lesson content, increasing flexibility in training.
